About Us

Walk The Dog is owned and operated by Alana Hickey, a longtime resident of the seacoast and New Hampshire native. Alana grew up on a small farm with dogs, cats, rabbits, chickens and a horse. She learned to appreciate animals as a young child and now shares that appreciation with her own children and their many pets, including a dog, cat, gecko and chickens.

Alana brings to Walk The Dog her love of animals, her boundless energy and enthusiasm for getting outside and being in nature. She holds a degree from UNH in Outdoor Education, with a minor in Business. Alana and her team of experienced animal care providers are dedicated to giving outstanding care and professional service that you can rely on.
